How does it work?
Professional skin needling produces thousands of micro-needle columns in the skin, which in turn stimulates the skin to naturally regenerate and repair itself. As part of this stimulation new collagen can be formed, new skin cells generated and the structure of the dermis, the lower level of the skin, enhanced.
Booster vials of highly concentrated cell boosting ingredients can be added during the treatment to boost results.
Will it hurt?
Before your treatment is started your skin will be numbed with highest quality of topical anaesthetic, so you’ll remain comfortable throughout the procedure.
What is the downtime?
After the treatment your skin will remain red, looking a lot like moderate sunburn, for around 24-48 hours. You are able to apply makeup after the first 24hrs.
When will I see results?
Smoother, brighter skin is often achieved immediately post procedure. The synthesis of collagen production encouraged by the procedure is a natural process and takes time, so it can take up to six weeks before you see significant results – although the process will continue over the following months. For more developed skin issues such as pitted acne scarring we recommend a course of 3-5 treatments.
